Is there any way I can use my MacBook Pro to help me?Ĭompletely stumped.any help appreciated. I can't do anything with the iMac at all. I'd like to try using Team Viewer or suchlike so that I can use my Macbook Pro to access the iMac.but obviously I can't access Team Viewer on the iMac to allow permission. but yes, it's still persisting so I know it's not a mouse 's something else. So I borrowed my girlfriend's mouse just to be super certain. Seemed to be no problems but I quit everything one by one and then forced shutdown again. I then tried holding down Command + Option + Escape to see if any applications were causing the problem and needed a Force Quit. I then forced a shutdown and started up the mac again.the problem persists. So I plugged in a spare Apple USB mouse.same problem. Folders and files can also be opened with just a single click.IMac cursor stuck - tried 3 mice - same problem So my cursor is stuck.if i move my mouse quickly it does jerk around a little bit, but it quickly goes back to its favourite place currently just above the dock at the bottom. Screen lock can be instantly invoked with a quick click rather than holding down three keys at the same time and clicking to confirm. You can also set buttons to minimize or maximize windows in the Desktop assignment options. Program buttons to perform cut & paste functions with a single click. Assign buttons to volume up or down and page forward and back. Want to use your trackball to control your volume or web browser? No problem. You can program buttons to enter pre-defined snippets of text or assign buttons to pre-selected navigation functions. You can also program buttons to enter snippets of text, control media, control navigation and perform editing tasks. So a button can be programmed to perform one function in one program and something different in another. Hotkeys can be customized per application. You can also perform “Chording” (assigning a hotkey to the combination of two buttons pressed at once). You can assign hotkey shortcuts to each button.
